At Alaska Gun Company, we don’t just build rifles — we build tools for your next story. Founded by Reed Carlson, a hunter whose passport is as worn as his boots.

Bringing a background of competitive shooting to the everyday hunter and outdoorsman, AGC designs rifles that perform wherever you find yourself… whether it’s chasing caribou in the Alaskan tundra, tracking kudu under an African sun, or climbing peaks in Montana.

Born and raised in Michigan, Reed’s journey has taken him from the Great Lakes to Hawaii, to the mountains of Montana, and deep into the backcountry of Alaska. His career has brought him into remote jungles like those in Vanuatu, adding a unique depth to his real-world experience. Along the way, his hunts have spanned continents, delivering firsthand insight into what gear holds up when the conditions are far from ideal.
